November 16th-25th is National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week. As we near the holidays, this week before Thanksgiving highlights issues of poverty and both food and housing insecurity.

About the event
Enrollment assistance in the state's Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Customer Assistance Program (CAP) will also be available for those who qualify. Please bring the names, dates of birth, and Social Security Numbers for each resident of your home; proofs of monthly or yearly income; a recent heating bill; and information about other household expenses, such as rent, utility bills, food, and insurance payments if you would like to apply.
